My old Impala next to a co-worker's valiant. But wait a minute-

Kinja'd!!!

I still do. :D Old American iron is my favorite. Sure other cars are faster and every Mack truck gets better mileage but there's just something about good old fashioned 1960's excess. Cheers oppo!

Cool, man! I just picked up my first car (an 84 Cutlass Supreme Brougham Sedan) today, and I feel the same.

That is one sexy boat. Would you ever consider paying someone to draw her? For Instance me?

Congrats! I used to roll in a 1980 Olds Delta 88. Post pics if you have some; I'd love to see it.

I'm actually looking to commission artwork of a 1966 Sprite and a 1969 Corvette on a twisty road. Got a link to your stuff? A website?

I could totally do that, I use the Tag Denver_Draws.

My drawing of Orlove's Beetle sounds very similar to what you're asking. I have moved on to color since then if you want that

Here's a pic from the ad. It has a lot more cosmetic rust than in the pictures, but is a lot more solid underneath than you'd ever believe. Unfortunately, I was so excited, I forgot to take pics when it was freshly parked in my grandad's driveway.

I love it man. Write an oppo review when you get a chance. Just curious, what made you want an older ride?

My dad has a Y2K Toyota Echo and a '13 Sonata, and I wanted something different. About a year ago, I sat inside an 88 Monte Carlo SS at my local chevy dealer, and that's when I knew that g-body cars were cool. I was originally going for an OG RX-7, but they just got so expensive so fast. For 1K, I have a reliable, torquey, cool first car.
